I was delighted when Justine Elyot posted a tweet asking for someone to be “blog tagged”. Not really knowing what this was and a few emails later…I’m here, and I’ve been tagged! So here are my answers to the questions.
What are you working on?
Currently, I am writing another short/long (I haven’t decided if this story has legs as yet) erotic romance story. For some reason the hero…I’m completely in love with him. I have no idea how it happened…but I adore him. There’s something quite fierce, protective and wild about him. I fell for him around page 4!
How does your work differ from others of its genre?
I think I’m quite sharp, and I mean that in my style of writing. I always write in the present tense and use quick, sharp descriptions or words. I seem to have evolved a style that I love. I tend not to use over flowing, romantic language as it’s not a reflection of (both) the writer or the person that I am.
Why do you write what you do?
I fell into the genre quite by accident and haven’t looked back. Before I wrote erotic romance, I wrote thrillers…so all I have done is to combine the two, which has ignited my joy for writing.
How does your writing process work?
I don’t have a process, but I’m writing all the time. In my head while I drive, or while listening to music or simply when I’m talking to people I’ll get an idea. I don’t set aside a time slot or anything, I go with the flow and know that my creativeness will guide me to my desk when it’s needed. (don’t fight the writer’s block, it’ll always win)
